The third international standard of reference framework for SmC led by China has been published

On May 4, 2021, the international standard ISO/IEC 30145-1:2021 Information technology — Smart City ICT reference framework — Part 1: Smart city business process framework led by China was officially approved and published. The publishing of the international standard marks the completion of all three international standards of ISO/IEC 30145 "ICT reference framework for smart cities".

Iso/iec 30145 ICT reference framework for information technology smart city series of international standards includes business process framework, knowledge management framework and engineering framework. The framework, principles and requirements of ICT technology support smart city development are proposed from different perspectives, which provides basic guidance and reference for ICT to help realize the vision of smart city. The second and third parts have been published in August and October last year. ISO/IEC 30145-1:2021 ICT reference framework for smart city of information technology Part 1: business process framework of smart city is issued in this paper. From the perspective of the City chief information officer, the general business process of smart city is proposed.

ISO/IEC 30145 "ICT reference framework for information technology smart cities" series of international standards are developed by ISO/IEC JTC1/WG11 smart cities (smart cities Working Group), experts from the new generation Standards Institute of Qilu University of Industry, Tencent Cloud, CZVV, 21vianet and other organizations, and the experts from UK, Canada, Japan, Australia and other countries jointly prepared this standard. The establishment of the series of international standards is mainly proposed by Chinese experts based on the relevant research results such as national standard GB/T 34678-2017 "smart city technology reference model", which has achieved the internationalization improvement of China's smart city standards and urban practice experience.
