2021 Qingdao International Standardization Conference focuses on sustainable development

On the morning of July 28, the 2021 Qingdao International Standardization conference jointly organized by Shandong provincial government of China and the State Administration of market supervision (SAC) opened in Qingdao International Convention Center. Qingdao, one of member cities of ISSCC has once again become the focus of international standardization. With the theme of "standards and sustainable development", the conference focused on the fields of modern agriculture, urban governance, vocational training, smart manufacturing and green energy. 300 guests from home and abroad discussed the role of standardization in promoting sustainable development through online and offline ways.

The conference also established four special chapters, namely "standardization supports sustainable development of modern agriculture", "standardization and digital transformation of urban governance", "standardized talent training", "standardization and industrial Internet and low-carbon transformation".

During the conference, the guests focused on the theme of the conference, focusing on the sustainable development of modern agriculture, digital transformation of urban governance, standardized vocational training, industrial Internet and low-carbon transformation, highlighting the development focus of standardization strategy, brainstorming and building consensus, and making suggestions for promoting the better development of international standardization.
