Lev Ha'ir, which means "heart of the city", is one of the first smart communities built in Tel Aviv, Israel. When you enter the community's digital platform, a variety of useful information is available in different categories to meet the needs of residents in their daily lives and services. Traveling, parking, medical care, childcare, schooling and paying utility bills can all be easily done on the community digital platform. Samantha usually chooses to ride her bike to work, and through the bike riding service system, she can easily find the shared bikes in the neighborhood.

In addition, thanks to Tel Aviv's powerful data collection capabilities, real-time traffic bulletins, road construction plans, radiation and noise pollution, major historical buildings, street names, social services and educational institutions, medical clinics and pharmacies ...... are all available on the community digital platform, providing residents with a lot of convenience.

"Smart communities cannot be built without the overall layout of Tel Aviv's smart city." Edna Paschal, founder and chairman of the Israeli Smart City Institute, told the newspaper that in 2014, Tel Aviv won the Best Smart City Award at the Barcelona Smart City Exhibition. Over the years, Israel has continuously promoted the construction of urban digital platforms based on big data technology, which has also laid a solid foundation for the construction of smart communities.

Previously, Israel's Ministry of Economy and Industry, Ministry of Interior and other ministries jointly launched a digital action plan, allocating about NIS 2.5 million (NIS 1 is about RMB 2) to introduce a public-private partnership model jointly developed by government agencies, academia and technology companies to establish a large database covering all cities in Israel, focusing on cyber security, smart transportation, elderly services and other aspects to achieve nationwide We will share data and provide services to cities more effectively to meet the needs and challenges related to future urban development. Relying on the Smart City's big data system and technology, Tel Aviv has also further integrated data from various fields such as transportation, power supply, logistics, healthcare, food, environmental protection, meteorology, municipalities, and security.

In order to bring more community residents into the smart life, Tel Aviv has launched the "Digital-Telecom" system platform, taking into account the needs of the people. By becoming a member of the platform, citizens can receive free Wi-Fi in all neighborhoods throughout the city, helping Tel Aviv achieve a digital-based smart city. "As a startup city, Tel Aviv is using the city's high-tech ecosystem as a lever to drive smart city transformation." Paschal said.
