Standardised Development of Park Cities - Practical Exploration of Chinese Modernised Cities

On 1st September, China Quality (Chengdu) Conference Sub-Forum IV was held in Chengdu, a member city of ISSCC. With the theme of "Standardised Development of Park Cities - Practical Exploration of Chinese Modernised Cities", academicians, experts, industry experts, government leaders and enterprise representatives gathered to discuss new ideas, new modes and new paths for the standardised construction of park cities, contributing wisdom and experience for the high-quality construction of Chinese modernised cities. From December 2021, Tianfu New Zone launched China's first park city national standardisation comprehensive pilot, to February this year, the country's first park city standard system (version 1.0) - "Sichuan Tianfu New Area park city standard system (version 1.0)" was officially released and continue to be iteratively updated, Tianfu New Area park city standardisation is trying to From "national pilot" to "national demonstration".

In June this year, the Teachers' Sharing Centre of Tianfu New Area released a total of 13 internal control standards within the system, including the "Table of Service Standard System of Teachers' Sharing Centre of Sichuan Tianfu New Area";

Sichuan Tianfu New Area Chamber of Commerce, Sichuan Tianfu New Area Quality and Technology Association, Chengdu Tianfu New Area Catering and Gourmet Industry Association, Sichuan Qiyang Automobile Group, etc. jointly formulated and released the "Code of Conduct for Suppressing Catering Waste", "Guidelines for Reducing Kitchen Waste", "Code of Integrity and Sales Service for Automobile 4S Store Personnel", and other group standards, which will promote standardisation construction of group organisations and key enterprises to go deeper;

As another highlight of the forum, "Sichuan Tianfu New Area Park City Standard System (Version 2.0)" was released simultaneously, marking the construction of the park city has a clearer "roadmap" and "construction plan".

According to reports, in February this year, Tianfu New Area initially completed the theoretical layer, guidance layer and application layer of the study, the formation of "1 system, 4 plates, 16 areas" of the "1-4-16" standardisation system version 1.0. Version 2.0 of the standardisation system continues the logic of version 1.0, further explores 345 achievements of park city innovation and practice in Tianfu New Area, aligns with the "four focuses" of the "Overall Programme for the Construction of a Park City Demonstration Area in Chengdu Practising the New Development Concept", highlights high standard planning, high quality life, high quality development and high efficiency governance, and builds a system that strengthens planning, high quality life, high quality development and high efficiency governance. Leaders and guests from the UK Building Research Establishment, Shanghai Pudong New Area, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, Sichuan Tianfu New Area, Xianning City of Hubei Province and Longgang City of Zhejiang Province had on-site dialogues and exchanges, discussing the development of urban standardization construction around the theme of "practicing the concept of people's city by standardization and promoting the quality and balance of basic public services", so that the "high standard" can be achieved in the future.
