7th WG meeting on ISO 37108 successfully held

On 24-25 March 2021, The 7th working group meeting of ISO / CD 37108 sustainable cities and communities - business districts - Guidance for practical local implementation of ISO 37101 jointly initiated by Beijing Future Science City on behalf of SAC and French national standardization organization AFNOR was held in the form of network meeting. Representatives from China, France, Germany, Brazil, Kenya and other countries attended the meeting.

This meeting discussed the opinions of experts from various countries collected in the stage of ISO 37108 committee draft. ISO 37108 launched the CD voting on November 21, 2020, and the voting ended on January 22, 2021. A total of 42 countries voted with no negative votes. Seven of them gave feedback.

At the meeting, members of TG1 working group and representatives of experts attending the meeting discussed the opinions and suggestions of various countries one by one, and the vast majority of them reached a consensus and completed the revision. For individual issues that need further discussion, it is planned to hold another seminar in the near future.

A vote on the ISO 37108 draft inquiry (DIS draft) is expected to be launched in June this year.
